It's easy to transfer (or "port") existing phone numbers between carriers, or even to transfer a phone number from a landline to a Simple Mobile phone. Known as wireless number portability, this process is quick and convenient when you order new cell phone service through Simple Mobile.
Customers are welcome to transfer their existing wireless or land-line number as part of the initial activation process. It's a very simple process; just provide a current bill from the existing carrier so that the exact account information can be input. If the customer's existing account information is not entered into the Simple Mobile activation system at time of purchase, the port will not take place. The customer will be issued a new Simple Mobile phone number and will not be able to transfer their existing number at a later time.
